Dorothy Lengyel Dorothy Lengyel was an Englishwoman in World War II Budapest. Her husband was a Hungarian judge. In the early 1940s, she arranged a meeting in which Gabor Haraszty, head SIS agent in Budapest, was asked to oversee a large sum consisting of gold napoleons and U.S. dollars, which was "from the Swedes." It was handed to him by Clement (Klement), who was also present. This was the infamous "Swedish Gold," which would bring tragedy to all the British agents linked to it ...
